QB Battle in Cleveland Continues

So the tra- Here's the thing with the training camp.

Like, I, I, we talked about this a couple of times about the, the quarterback tracker.

It is a fun thing for me personally to talk about, because I think it's like, it's a good, it's a coffee book.

Like, you talk about it over a couple of drinks, and it's something you don't take seriously.

And today I got to see full experience why those words are true.

Um, because though the stats and the statistics look good for certain quarterbacks, either Deshaun or Watson, doesn't matter, you s- I still felt leaving, after leaving, my brother said, "So what do you think?" And I said, "We're gonna draft a quarterback next year." [laughs] "We just are." And, and I know fans are not gonna wanna hear that, and this is, this is not a knock on anybody else other than me.

This is me saying this.

This isn't Chad, this isn't Mike, this isn't...

Gary's gonna hate me on Saturday when you guys go on your first radio show.

[laughs]

But, uh, Gary said, "Well, how did the quarterbacks look?" And I told Gary straight out, "We will be looking for a quarterback next year," because the answer is not Watson because obviously we don't wanna re-sign him.

And Shedeur Sanders I seen repeatedly over and over and over again have not learned let the ball go.

You've had people in the crowd say, "Throw the ball," at practice.

That's something that's not being reported, by the way.

People are telling him to throw the ball either away or at receivers.

Now, just understandably so, you're probably seeing the chat, not all his fault.

He's, he was on the second team.

There are, there are second teamers there.

But at the same time, when Deshaun Watson plays with the second team, he doesn't get grace.

So I'm not gonna give Deshaun Watson grace, I'm not gonna give Shedeur Sanders grace.

He is holding the ball too long, and by the time someone is in his face, he is trying to throw the ball, but it's too late, it is considered a sack.

I did my own sack record, br- uh, sack tracker today, and they both got four sacks.

So four of those incompletions should not count, because literally somebody runs past them, sack, and they hold the ball for another three seconds, and throw the ball for a completion.

So-

Well-
