Shedeur Sanders

He knows that he has to start Deshaun Watson this Sunday because somehow they won.

Like, if they were 0 and 2 and they came off of a terrible loss, it's just easy to just turn it over to Shedeur.

But now that they won, he knows that he's gotta bring Shedeur, or he's gotta bring Deshaun in, and it's just one of those, like, well, we need to, I need to say something enduring to them.

So let me do this.

Browns are gonna Browns F that.

I feel it probably has.

I, I know the prevailing wisdom has been he, he gets the two road games and they switch to Shedeur Sanders for the home opener with the, the crowd probably being a little more willing to back him.

But Watson completed 24 of 30 for 238 yards and two touchdowns in, in the win over the Bucs.

And, and, and I mean, I don't know if that, that'll keep the fans from booing him [laughs] when he hits the field against Cleveland on Sunday.

Uh, their defense got three sacks in this game.

Um, but if you look at Tyler Shuck a- and just being efficient, and I think he, he was the guy, because Shedeur Sanders was in this draft, everybody was like, "Why would the Saints pick him and not Shedeur Sanders?" I think you're starting to see it.

I mean, I wasn't high on him.

He got a lot of reps last year.

[laughs]

... kind of go- [laughs] Um, uh, so, so I, I have a theory here that, that, um, Casey Concepcion needs Shedeur Sanders, and, like, when we get Shedeur Sanders, he's gonna be the guy.

But now with Watson, Boston gets the boost because Watson's a little bit more gunslinger, whereas Shedeur is more checkdown.

You saw that last year with Harold Fanin.

They're not getting any more Travis Hunters.

And unless Deion been doing some work I don't know about, they ain't getting no more Shedeur Sanders neither, okay? The thing about this though is Deion came in the press conference and was talking about how he's walking off the field and his players, after getting smashed like that, are laughing.

And he's making it very clear in that press conference that he's here to win, that he badly wants to win, and how much it infuriated him and how much it burned him up that these guys on his team did not seem to be serious about winning.

And this is the trick bag of the entire existence of Deion Sanders, and this is what I mean by that.

I mean, he, uh, you can't, I, you cannot have worse quarterback luck than he's had.

Well, a year ago, he's trying to decide between Dillon Gabriel or Shedeur Sanders behind Deshaun Watson, and now he's like, "I have this thing called Jack Strand that I did not know existed four months ago, and I'm trying to give it to him from Cooper Rush." Like, what did I-

I'm not

I think the Bengals are gonna be a playoff team.

The Ravens losing to the Saints, and I said last week, everybody slobbers all over Shedeur Sanders out of that draft, and Tyler Shuck is the best quarterback.

That kid's good.

They go on the road and they beat the Ravens.

Unless he's a top five quarterback, then I can kind of plow my way through everything that is Deshaun Watson.

I don't think they have a starting quarterback there, a franchise quarterback.

They have a starting quarterback, but, you know, keep in mind, if Deshaun Watson didn't play well in Tampa, there's a pretty good chance Shedeur Sanders is gonna be the starting quarterback next week.

But Deshaun Watson played like he's supposed to play.

The Browns gave him the information.

They wanted their f- when TV ratings were down 40%, they wanted their fans to know that if it didn't work out yesterday I- in Tampa, that they were gonna go to Shedeur Sanders.
