That's, you know, that's, I think, a concern because Iowa's not going to do that much next week.

But if Iowa can run the ball, Iowa's offensive line is going to be probably fine.

And

they have a lot of big plays on the ground, Iowa, which is they've got like 11, 20-yard rushes coming into this game.

So,

you know, going through the – we talked about the defensive line.

I do want to talk a little bit about the offensive line because there was no Philip Daniels.

So you're back to – Ian Moore, Luke Montgomery, Carson Hinsman, Gabe VanSickle, and Austin Seereveld.

Yeah, this is a big one for the Jets.

Really, you know, my, my biggest, the thing I'm gonna be watching most closely is that offensive line, 'cause they were so good in week one, and then they were terrible in week two, and you, you kinda wonder how much the rain played into it.

And people don't wanna hear it.

"Oh, that's an excuse." And it's like, NFL coaches, since, you know, since the beginning of time, take extra steps heading into a game when they know it's going to be wet because they know that affects player performance.

And I'm not going at, like, I, I'm looking more at the coaching staff for that loss.

N- sorry, not the coaching staff, but the equipment staff more so than the coaches, because the number of times, like that fourth and one with Bralen Allen, Armon Memmaux's feet just came out from under him and he flopped onto his face, you know, and we saw that a few times.

So this is a chance for this O line to go and play in a building where no elements, no rain to worry about, against a really good team with some good pass rushers, and show that they can play the type of football that we, the way we talked them up all off-season, that they were gonna be this really good, young offensive line.

They didn't look like it last week, and this is an opportunity for redemption for them.

... that, you know, I do think we probably will see more of as far as trying to hit backs in the passing game and thing like, things like that.

Because to me, obviously so much has already been talked about when it comes to the offensive line, I'm not gonna belabor that too much here unless you have more to add.

But it is fascinating to watch their approach out of the gate last night.

So many attempts and routes and concepts trying to push the ball deep down the field.

L- And if you go look, I, I've posted it on happy hour, I posted the look a- at the play of what Jordan's looking at and not, you know, checking out of that run play.

You look at the two high safeties and you look at the light box that Chris Brooks is about to run into and you're like, th- th- this is like, you know, drawing up plays and/or calling plays 101.

We've got exactly what we want, but your offensive line completely messes up the, you know, the blocking up front, a defensive tackle shoots through, and what should be an easy five or six yard gain turns into a one or two yard loss.

And then like this, this week for instance, you saw what he wanted to do.
