D'Angelo Ross

Uh, they signed cornerback Miles Bryant and tight end John Fitzpatrick to the practice squad.

They released cornerback D'Angelo Ross and tight e- uh, tight end Masiah Swinson from the practice squad, and we released veteran offensive lineman Kendrick Green from injured reserve.

So no blockbuster moves here, but Bryant's hist- interesting given the health questions in the secondary-

He is certainly a guy that I... would expect they might even elevate them in the next few weeks to play some specials the way they're doing this, right? So that's something to know.

And then D'Angelo Ross, who was waived last week after being elevated, has now been brought back to the practice squad, which is, I know, Brad's favorite topic, which is like Andrew Barry's rotating door of these guys.

That's why they're building a hotel on site in Berea.

They're just going to house some of these guys in the hotel.

So there was one roster move today, John.

It was quarterback D'Angelo Ross signed to the practice squad.

And then they signed him to the practice squad and cornerback Miles Bryant was released.

So All right, my friend, let's get to it.

all go to the practice squad.

They cut D'Angelo Ross, released technically, and released Chris Williams, defensive tackle.

So, you know, Ross was elevated.

I don't know, man.

You can get some guys who think they're entitled, they're not doing anything, not working hard, or saying stuff that's negative.

It could be anything.

But I find it interesting to just release D'Angelo Ross, who was elevated for the game, but then Chris Williams, who's the guy that brought back around.

But you're ultimately trying to find 16 guys, some of which are interested in bringing them up because you want to take advantage of the four-game rule, but also just need good culture guys.

There's nobody on the injury report.

That game against Cleveland made D'Angelo Ross out there playing cornerback in that game.

He

was banged up.

Lasseter's couldn't have been good either, I would imagine.

It was over 100, obviously.

But I harped on that for many years about D'Angelo Ross when he was terrible and not a perfect QB rating.

So until Reed Blankenship breaks that perfection, I will harp on

And I don't know if he just didn't trust Harden, who got smoked, you know.

And, and, uh, they brought up D- D'Angelo Ross from the practice squad.

Like, I don't know if he just didn't trust these guys to, to try and lock up one-on-one with Thomas, and Washington, and Myers, and, and Travis Hunter, and these guys, and he thought, "Well, we'll just play zone and keep them in front and try to make some tackles.

Hopefully the pass rush will get there." But the thing is, the pass rush didn't get there either.

Parker Brailsford is questionable with a thumb.

The Browns have elevated Nathaniel Watson and D'Angelo Ross from the practice squad already.

We know that.

Why D'Angelo Ross? I will never know.

We know Nathaniel Watson has been good on special teams this offseason.

So I think maybe that's where he's hoping to fit in.

Some exciting receivers, dude.

And not that they have anybody super talented to throw them the football, but Concepcion, D'Angelo.

Denzel Boston looks like he can be a runaway stud.
