So we'll get to that in a second, but let's start off with our highlight post of the week.

He was lamenting the end of the Pays and New Egg gift card trick.

If you're not familiar, Pays is a payment process.

They're kind of like PayPal or Zelle.

There's been certain Sapphire and Freedom cards that have an offer on it where you can earn 10x ultimate rewards up to $1,500 a month.

through the end of the year.

So when you go into these certain vendors that allow Pays as a payment processor, then you can pay through Pays and it goes to, if you choose one of your Chase cards, the Sapphire or the Freedom cards that you've linked, you can get that 10X Ultimate Rewards, which is a good deal.

There are other limited vendors that are using Pays right now, but one of them was Newey, which sells computer and electronic stuff, but also gift cards to a bunch of places.

So you could go in and buy gift cards to various restaurants or Uber, a bunch of places.

and get that 10x plus the regular spend on the card but that is now gift cards are now ineligible that happened very quickly where people were talking about it in the group and then all of a sudden it died in a spin kind of on podcasts and so like many things in this game when it tries to get exploited sometimes those tricks get shut down quickly But still, you can use Pays with the other vendors and earn the 10X, StubHub, United, Sephora, Domino's.

There's several decent ones that if you're going to go check out through them, definitely connect your chase cars and earn those extra points if you're paying with Pays.

P-A-Z-E. Eric, did you have a chance to check this out at all?

Yeah, I don't want to talk about what I lost out on now, but yeah, I took advantage of it when I could.

I actually just used it earlier this month, and I finished it off with a nice little buy at Omaha Steaks, of all places.

Takes its pays, so I was able to maximize that $1,500 through there, but You know, it's like anything, right? You got to jump on it while it's hot because eventually it may go away.

So it was fun while it lasted.
