So what's going to be our thing? That's the question I've just been asking people.
If all of us have come from different places and cultures and religious backgrounds, I mean, except for the people of Turtle Island, right? All of us either came here because we were stolen, refugees, or through immigration, forced migration, but we're all coming from different places.
Some people are like, well, a little bit more dogmatic about it, a little bit like all or nothing about it, by any means necessary about it.
But it has to be redirected to our humanity for our liberation, you know, and I just think a lot of it has to do with the propaganda and the brainwashing and the bread and circuses of it all because the Roman Empire used... bread and circuses and sports to quell the anger and the rage of the people that would have otherwise been used against the ruling class.
And I'm kind of like, I don't know, I feel like joy is more sustainable, that energy that everyone's feeling, that buzziness of people are actually like really nice in the city, you know? Because I don't think we can get to where we want to be if everyone's miserable.
