see we had a bunch uh i i'm gonna pull up my playlist uh really quickly um because we built a spotify playlist um uh some of the stuff that went into it um For that opening section, we were looking at a bunch of Jed Krizal stuff.

So he's got a little bit of that country and a little bit of that kind of epic fantasy in him.

I would say like generally with music, um, we wanted to honor the fact that every planet, every chapter feels like a different genre.

Um, He's incredibly good at mixing and fusion and building and honoring motifs, which are kept consistent and developed.

And I think that's that main thing is we focus very, very heavily on character, on not being didactic.

We score... to having motifs that mean very specific things modulate in the background, you know? And that is sometimes a parallel if not even like a contrasting story to what is being told by the dialogue.

And I think that that's kind of that space that we try to stay in is having music, which is, Toby Fox as well, like obviously is really great at that.

And we would often talk about like, I guess the more I speak, the more I'd say like game music had a really big part.

And I looked a lot at Cloud Atlas for Krypton, We were looking for soundtracks that gave a sense of like yawning history and legacy and music that makes you feel the weight of time.

And the suite of composers who worked on Cloud Atlas, I think to this day, that's one of my favorite movies that people don't like.
