Uh, we talked last year.

I said I wanted to do something involving the Dirk Maggs, uh, BBC audio dramas of Superman, and you are one of the people that is really into that.

And it also helps that you're British, uh, so that I can get a perspective that isn't, "Hey, we saw this over here, and barely any of us know that these exist." I think people know that there wa- you know, pretty across the board, that people know that there was a Doomsday adaptation 'cause that got a, that got a wide release here, uh, in, on tape [laughs] mostly.

And then in around 2004, uh, they... or 2005, they put out a CD of it with some very, very obvious, uh, merchandising art on the front [laughs] that had nothing to do with The Death of Superman, but that's okay.

the Man of Steel one is awful.

Yeah, it, it like-

I, I don't know if, had I heard it as a kid, that would've... and, you know, not heard the Dirk Maggs stuff, I would've been like, "That was amazing."

And as usual, it's never that simple.

What happened was I got chatting to a guy online called Dirk Maggs, who I don't know if you've heard of him, but he's done a lot of work for Audible.

He used to work for the BBC.

He's done a lot of...

But because it was the Alien franchise, and it was Audible... that got me an agent, a voiceover agent.

Wow.

Because they looked at, oh, it's Dirk Maggs.
