What would you say would be the most difficult part of adapting that kind of story into audio?

That's a good question.

I would say the first thing that comes to mind for me is there's this thing that Dirk Maggs used to say when he was adapting the wealth of things that he did, which is he said that he liked that audio and comics don't step on each other.

which is something I resonate with a lot.

What that means is that the tools that we use to build a comic and the tools we use to build audio and how they're received, you know, they're different.

Even if you're trying to tell the same story and even if you're trying to be faithful, you sort of don't have to worry about about just playing the same beats, because there's no way to do that one-to-one.

Every choice and step you make in building the audio feels like its own thing.

Was there any sort of overlap between the Supergirl movie production and this? Was there any conversation with James Gunn in New York? That kind of thing?
