And I got to tell you, I'm not sure if it's the new shoes that I got.
I'm not sure if it's actually my training that's working or my fitness that's still there.
But I finished in fifth place in my gender for the Pride Run and fourth place for the Achilles Run.
Now I did do a slight walk for each one because it was about 80% humidity, super hot, but I had a great time and I was really proud of the finish times that I had.
They really inspired me and made me feel like I'm getting back on track and that my training is working because I have felt that it's been struggling a lot recently.
especially the last like two months.
I'm also having some issues with my heart.
I have a history of high blood pressure off dosage.
And so I get head rushes all of the time when I stand up.
And when I would run, especially if I was running a little bit faster, I would feel like someone was squeezing my heart and it would hurt.
So now my medication lowered seems to be working.
This was the first real big thing that I had done since the medication was lowered.
So I was happy to see that it seems to work.
It seems that worked, but I'm actually currently wearing a heart monitor for the next week.
So just check and make sure my heart's okay.
And I had a stress test the other day.
They found a very, very, very minor abnormality in the test.
But they were really concerned, but I had to go back and get another one with an echocardiogram.
So that'll be fun next month.
Or, yeah, next month.
It's July now.
But overall, I mean, I'm really proud of the weekend that I had and super excited to...
