WHY SOME CHRISTIANS STILL FEEL SPIRITUALLY STUCK

I know you have an idea of what it means to be a Christian.

Spiritually, you can...

Like this building right now, if we want to deal with the foundation, we need to put the superstructure out in order for us to tackle the foundation.

But spiritually, it's possible for you to enhance your foundation.

And so sometimes when Apostle Paul comes to a place, he assesses the believers in that location.

Then he designs if what they need is foundational or superstructure-wise.

So we are deliberate in our attempt to fortify our foundation in the faith.

So we began last week.

Okay, so I'm lost for time, and that's not supposed to be an error in this class.

So we saw the meaning of salvation.

And we saw that salvation was forgiveness from sin and sins.

And you know the difference between sin in the singular and sins in the plural.

Because we are not going to go back.

Being saved means being spared from perdition, being spared from the wrath of God that is occasioned by the rebellion of the first Adam.

Because it happens to be that we inherited the mutation that resulted from Adam's rebellion.

So that is a state of perdition.

So when you are saved, you are spared from that perdition.

Being saved means that you are regenerated and this is organic.
