Yes, and we will get to that, but before we do, I want to give just a brief history of Troll 2, because there's reasons why this is so bad.
1986, they make Troll, right? It had some moderate success.
It's got like 4.6 out of 10 stars.
It's, you know, not great, but it's kind of a cult classic for some people.
It's nostalgic for some people.
I've never actually seen it, but apparently it's campy and has really great practical effects.
Why do we watch this movie, then?
Because this is the one that people actually know, because the troll is apparently just not that memorable.
But Troll 2, you're going to remember it.
Four years later, people that had nothing to do with that one...
Literally no one that worked on Troll has anything to do with Troll 2.
And that's because it wasn't supposed to be Troll 2.
That was the original production title of it.
That's what they were going to...
That's what they made.
That's what they were going to release it as.
And then the publisher said, I don't think it's going to get any traction as Goblins, but if we make it a sequel to this other movie, even though they have nothing to do with each other, and there are no trolls in this movie...
Maybe we can do better.
Maybe you can trick at least some people to coming to see it.
I really think that they watched this schlock and said, oh, this is really bad.
No one's going to watch this if it's not related to a franchise.
I would be inclined to agree.
This is bad.
