So with that said, Bruce, let's jump right into things here with our predictions for the Eastern Conference.

So they brought in a great perimeter defender in Lou Dort, who joins Dyson Daniels and Nikhil Alexander-Walker to create a three-headed defensive monster that opponents are going to have to really work hard to penetrate.

This is Quin Snyder's fourth full season as Hawks head coach, and while his teams have increased their win totals in each of his, you know, full seasons, it won't be easy to do it in a power-packed East.

And I'm not sure they'll finish higher than last season's number six seed, but they should be good for at least 44 wins and the over.

And I know we're just starting this show off, but, uh, the Hawks at 43 and a half wins was probably the toughest over/under line for me of all the teams this, uh, past off-season.

I feel like they've improved this off-season, all while the Eastern Conference itself got a huge facelift at the same time.

I, I, I hope they prove me wrong, 'cause I really like what Atlanta's building here.

I like the defense that they have behind Quin Snyder's group here, and understand that he's in his fourth year.

He believes that they could have a top five defense, but a competitive East makes, uh, this a reach, uh, given that last season's win total was 46.

Uh, so he thinks it's tough for them to go ahead and repeat that, uh, given the, the offense that they have this year.

This season, their over win- over/under win total has been set at 50 and a half wins.

I'm going to take the under, but just barely because I see these guys as a 50 win team with the chance for a deep playoff run.

I mean, Mitchell Robinson and Paul George are the new guys, and both have battled injury problems.

So I see both of them needing some load management along the way in order to preserve their health for the postseason, which may contribute to may- and not winning as many games as maybe they would if they were playing 70 games.
