Um, I don't know if I mentioned this on the last recap for episodes one and two, but in vision sort of like a way of figuring himself out, I did peep the fact that this is a vision that will kill without hesitation.
And I think that's something that is very noticeable here.
mainly in episode three we see we we kind of you kind of think back on this stuff especially given what happens in episode three but it's one of the things where you look back at the first two episodes like damn this vision is like killing and stuff and you can probably say that's a little bit because of ultron being in his head so that instinct is there um but yeah it's actually pretty interesting on that but um so the one big one of many big point of contentions in episodes three and four is the big reveal of the butcher bird killer and you know at the beginning episode three you know we see ultron looking at the news and observing about the butcher bird killer and what they leave behind and all that stuff And it's one of those put a pin in that because the episode, you know, the series ends up circling back to that when we get to episode four, but it's one of those things where Ultron is like,
Hmm.
You know, I think one of the lingering aspects, especially with episodes three and four, is seeing sort of like Ultron further kind of impose himself in the proceedings, especially with Vision, Eda, Friday, and the rest of them trying to figure out who the Butcherbird killer is and... you know really kind of getting understanding of tommy and just everything that's happening especially dealing with paladin which we'll get i'll get into in a minute um so i i am definitely digging sort of the evolution of vision of of ultron where it's like he's helping the crew but there's that trepidation of you can't quite trust them because there's something going on um before i get into paladin i have to put this out here um well no let's get into paladin Now, one of my favorite things about the Marvel Cinematic Universe is always the notion of there always being sort of back end stuff happening, you know, while everything we're seeing on the front end is happening.
And we saw it as much in Falcon Winter Soldier with Madripoor and their things happening there.
So as I mentioned before with the adamantium bullets that you know paladin had it was interesting that they imply like oh the ten ring syndicate you know hooked you up with the you know adamantium bulletproof vest and such you know to protect him from you know vision and all that stuff you know and he's like oh i give him pairs and all that stuff which i think is interesting it's cool that the ten ring syndicate are still in play they're not disappeared off which i actually did but then it's the fact that have a paladin that has faced off against punisher he's faced off against daredevil and he's faced off against werewolf by night which i love because it's like would have been nice to actually see them sure but and this is something that i brought up with lanterns on the whole show don't tell tell don't show kind of thing this is one of those instances where telling us instead of showing us works in terms of furthering paladin's conflict because we see what paladin is working with because we see him you know fighting vision and all that and stuff we don't actually need to see those clips of him fighting punisher daredevil and werewolf by night it'd be nice but this is one of those instances where it works right because you're building up sort of this conflict within the mcu of all these characters interacting in some way shape or form and stuff um so that's great but then there's also the reveal with paladin through jocasta which that's another person we'll get into where he's not really a lineage paladin he was somebody that got rescued by somebody that was a paladin and just got raised as one um which interesting now And I'll get back to Paladin in a minute.
