Nothing more than that.

And so, yeah, we learn the reason Ultron is still around is Vision uploaded him during their final confrontation in Sokovia before destroying Ultron's body, kind of figured that anyway.

And Ultron calls the mind space the prison you've made for us both.

And we have Vision, you know, insisting on these human avatars and human constructs.

Um, everybody thinks at the very end of w- of Vision Quest, uh, Doom is gonna show up to kidnap Ultron and take him to... 'Cause Ul- if you guys didn't know, Ultron is in this show.

He basically like, I know they s- were supposed to have like killed him in Sokovia, or to like kill the last of him in the network or whatever, but there's like one little patch of code left of him, and Vision has kept him alive in his own brain because Ultron is like kind of his dad.

It's a very weird thing, that it calls him Papa.

[laughs] You know, like, or sorry, Ultron wants him to call him Papa, not, [laughs] he doesn't actually call him that.

You know, in, um...

And Ultron will say in this episode, like to clarify it undeniably for the viewer, you know, "I didn't ask to be backed up and copy and pasted [laughs] out of Sokovia and into the prison you made for both of us." Pretty funny.

Um, Vision...

I feel like a mistake I'm gonna make covering this season is just saying Jarvis, Vision, and Ultron incorrectly about these characters who are definitionally connected.

W- well, what does that actually look like and who is the arbiter of that? And Ultron, even from the beginning when he turned into an evil, um, maniac who sought to take a chunk of Sokovia, raise it into the air, and then fire it into the ground as a missile that would destroy, uh, Earth so that humanity could be reborn, fucked up and bad, he was still thinking about humanity, right? And what it meant to be human.

And now he was doing it through the lens of seeing failure and pain and the need for a reset, but he was never an AI who was like, "I'm not interested in humanity." He was an AI who was like, "I think I can do it better." How present is that for him still?

Sokovia.

Wakovia Bank, everybody.

Mm-hmm.

But I bring all that up in an MCU video because rereading that first For the purposes of this, like I reread it to lead us to this watch, I didn't realize how much of the imagery that you're probably familiar with of the entire MCU comes from just Vision Quest.

The destruction of Sokovia with Wanda destroying that building from Civil War is Vision Quest.

Vision sprawled out in the imagery we see here from WandaVision is from Vision Quest.

A lot of the imagery of their relationship, their two children from WandaVision, Vision Quest.
