3YPC-(WK2-MIA @ SF) Episode 9.572

So anyway, uh, before we went off there, uh, this is the preview for 49ers-Dolphins.

And believe it or not, there's a world where they get smoked in this game, but you feel a little bit better about the team.

They're 13-and-a-half-point underdogs.

That's one way you could feel better about it, if they make a game of this into the fourth quarter.

There are other ways that they could make a game of this, and we'll begin right there.

Uh, first half, let's talk about what we want to see.

I want to see, and I'll start us off, and then I'll bring in Chris here.

I want to see this team play as designed, at least for the last few months.

Yeah.

I was shocked when you posted that number of how few 12 personnel, uh, they ran in th- in that game against the, the Las Vegas Raiders.

Like, that was some...

That was, that was a feature.

It was a feature of training camp.

You saw Dulcich, you saw Kazz Merrick out there consistently, a lot.

And then all of a sudden against the Raiders, they're not doing any of that.

So I wanna see this team play as designed.

I don't care.

If you get, you get your teeth kicked in, okay, great.

Doesn't matter.

Doesn't...

You're not better than the 49ers.

[laughs]

If you beat them, okay, let's pop the champagne, right? But you're not better than that team.

I just wanna see this team play as designed for at least into the fourth quarter.

And if you wanna go, if you wanna freak out because you're down three touchdowns, by all means, but that's what I wanna see this weekend.
