Chicago is Heading to the MLB Post Season

Let's go ahead and talk about the Toronto Blue Jays to lead things off because the five Toronto Blue Jays players who could be saying goodbye to Toronto, they didn't make the playoffs.

So when you have those kinds of things, then you obviously have to make provisions that when you don't make the playoffs, who's going to be coming and who's going to be going? Well, I'll list a few names here.

One of them is Max Scherzer.

So Max Scherzer obviously pitched on Sunday.

But is Mad Max willing to come back another night, another year? I don't know.

His record, certainly Candy will research it in a moment, would indicate whether he's just holding on.

The other one we have here is Shane Bieber, B-I-E-B-E-R.

So, again, he's an unrestricted free agent.

We also have Emi Garcia.

Candy, we had a chance to see him play over with the Marlins.

And now, obviously, his future is in doubt in Toronto.

And you also have George Springer, another unrestricted free agent.

And last but not least, you also have Jameson Taillon, T-A-I-L-L-O-N, in case you're keeping up with spelling and checking it all out.

Okay, Uncle Warren, what are your thoughts about these particular guys? Which ones should they actually keep?

Well, I think they should keep George Springer.

He's been a very intricate part of their offense, and he's a good defender, good outfielder.

He can play, and he can move around and play all three outfield positions.

I think Matt Max is probably going to retire, I would imagine.

He's getting up in age, and he's having a hard time staying healthy for 162 games.

You know, and they had a tough year.

It's a shame.

I mean, they came close to being in the World Series last year and the Mariners knocked them out.

But that was or no, they lost to the Dodgers in the World Series.

Right.

Thank your pardon.
