For George Springer, his 15th home run of the year, it's a hanging changeup that he hits into the right field bullpen to make it 2-1.

And the most egregious one is probably Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

If I've said Vladimir Tarasenko, I do apologize.

He walks four total, three in this frame alone, and actually walks Brett Bateman with the bases loaded.

A 3-2 fastball that was about a foot too tall to make it 5-1.

Cam Sanders comes in, immediately gives up a double off of George Springer, a slider on the outer third of the plate that cashes in all three inherited runs and gives you your 8-1 final score.

Pretty much all the season's problems wrapped into a bow here as the O's lose this one 8-1.

So, um, you got Kirk off, off his feet, and it didn't even matter.

The guy that was replacing him, George Springer at DH, gave it, gave you four RBIs today.

And I, I think it's strictly just throwing people out for Cease.

Maybe we can find a way to frame it better when they lose, so we apologize for that, but love winning.

I, I also wanted to touch on another guy, Avery, because he, he also deserves his flowers, and this is just the flower-giving podcast.

But George Springer is the most hurt human being in North America, and these are his numbers.

He has a, he's hitting .313 with a .343 OBP and a .490 slug in his last 30.

But what a crazy bottom of the fifth inning.

Um, it all kinda, it, I mean it started with George Springer hitting a, a 375-foot home run, a solo shot.

And another way too, yeah.

Yeah.

But the year before hit 30 plus.

And of course, the veteran George Springer, who has been a very solid DH there for the Toronto Blue Jays.

I would guess that he would stay in Toronto and try to sign a shorter term deal.

But that's basically the position class.

We got Nathan Lucas.

We got George Springer.

We got Brett Bateman.

We got Miles Straw.

It's going to be interesting to see what we can do to Chris Bassett, though, for the lineup for the Toronto Blue Jays.

Taking on Mr. Chris Bassett, you're going to get Brett Bateman leading off.

You're going to have George Springer batting two.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. still batting third.

Fortunate bounce for him.

Springer's been better, I would say, the last month.

Jimenez has had some big hits.

Miles Straw, as we talked about last night.

But again, you really don't use that for a reference point.

And I think I talked about the lineup too.

No George Springer tonight.

For the Blue Jays.

Now, I don't want to compare and contrast this Blue Jays team to anything.

last year's iteration but there is that sparkle in this team the last couple weeks he's been really really impressive and of course spearheaded by the kevin gossman trade the gossman's been fantastic unsurprising at that with the cubs but the key cog they got back in that deal brett bateman has been unbelievable like this team has been searching for a leadoff hitter all season long we all know george springer hasn't been that guy just hasn't been a great year for the veteran Brett Bateman has been a breath of fresh air.

I just love the mind games at the plate, how competitive his at-bats are lately.

He's seeing a lot of pitches, getting on basic.

They are very capable of getting to a guy like Kyle Bradish.

For the Toronto Blue Jays, their lineup, they're going to have Brett Bateman leading off, George Springer batting two, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will be batting three for your Toronto Blue Jays, Alejandro Kirk going to be batting four, Nathan Lucas five, Okamoto six, Josh Smith, seven.
