Zolzcast - Week 99

I asked Rob before we went on the air, dude, what do we talk about first? Because we're going to talk about everything today, but do we talk about the Yankees because it's the playoffs first? And they're playing tonight? Or do you talk about football? Because football, honestly, like it or not, is the king.

Yes.

Baseball is no longer the national pastime.

Baseball, I think, since the changes several years ago, has recaptured the number two spot.

I think they've passed by the

NBA.

I think it has, too.

I think there's something to be said still that football's the national passion.

Baseball can still be the pastime.

No, as long as

the idiots that run the game run the game.

And the idiots are hurting the game.

And after this World Series, we're going to see the freeze.

It's going to be bad.

Yep.

I'm not sure we see baseball again until 28, and that worries me.

That's crazy.

That's awful.

Well, you

have to consider at what point does either side say, you know what, it ain't worth it at this point.

Yeah.

Whether it's the players or the owners.

I mean, they both have an incredible amount of money to lose here.

Sure they do.

Because remember, you're talking about billionaires on one side and millionaires on the other side.
