The Augsburg Confession is the principal theological statement of the Lutheran Church. Join Pastor Brown as he continues a study of this foundational document in this recording of the Sunday morning…
We're looking at Article One today.
I put a copy of Article One by the copy of the handout if you, uh, [clears throat] didn't have one or if you didn't have one from last week.
We have not ordered Books of Concord yet.
I want to talk about that a little bit, that last week I took a very impulsive count of who wanted a Book of Concord.
And then after the class, other people were telling me better ideas, which I'm always down for better ideas.
Uh, I don't always have very good ideas.
So one of the better ideas was a, a little sign-up sheet to pass around, that if you would like a Book of Concord, we'll pass this around.
You could s- you can write your name down underneath which one you want.
I put hardcover, which is this one, and then I put paperback.
I didn't know there was a paperback version of this size.
So there's a paperback version for about half the price of this one, and then this pocket edition paperback is only $5 cheaper than the big paperback.
So I, I'll pass both of these around.
You can kind of look at them.
The font is actually pretty close, the size in both of these.
But I'll, I'll pass these around as one big unit, and you can take a look.
And if you would like one, sign your name up.
If you would not like one, that's totally fine.
It's free online.
So I just...
This is one of those books as members of the Lutheran Church we probab- we probably should have, and some of you may have it already.
So that... and that's great.
So that'll be making its way around during the class, so you'll have something to look forward to while I'm just talking.
You know the sign-up sheet's coming, so that's very fun and exciting.
