Um, I've got a three-year-old running around, uh, which I'm very grateful for because he's actually helping me transition.

Uh, the wife gets at me all the time 'cause I want cuddles in the lounge and she goes, "No, he's gotta sleep in his own bed." I said, "Oh yeah, I get it.

... he's only gonna be this age for a while." And then I got me other three.

A 14-year-old girl and daughter, and a soon to be 11-year-old daughter next, next week.
You get it, don't you? That like your wife said, you know, "He's gotta sleep in his own bed," blah, blah, blah.

Like, the only time I get a message from my 19 and 16-year-old now is, "Dad, can I have some money?" [chuckles]

Um, and I think it's more relevant for me now being out because, um, you know, as I try and explain my career to people, I was a honeymoon husband.

Um, so 10 months of the year, if I wasn't away on course or instructing or, uh, re-qualifying, which you had to do every year, uh, the longer we got with the, the politics of it all, um, on all your skill sets, and if not, you're away on exercise or you're deployed.
