With my Irish sister Tina D Parton!

Kind of going a little bit back on that.

Obviously, the pandemic was unprecedented.

None of us in this living world really had the kind of experience.

A lot of drag queens went online.

Yeah.

Did you go online? Did you? Did I

go online? Most people know me more online than they did fucking offline.

When the pandemic hit, I went back in my grandparents' room.

Yeah.

And we were the bubble.

At that stage, I came out to my grandparents about a year at this stage.

And, you know, the beyond acceptance was fantastic.

I... someone had suggested would I not do an online show and I was going like I can talk shite to anyone so why not so I started doing a couple of online performances on Instagram and different things because it built up quite good following at that stage it went down really well like it was stupid Irishy just show good how are you and how are you Mary how's the family live on Instagram like and I'm sitting down in my bedroom and half drag and Even though I hadn't a clue how to dress and how to look, I started to learn.

And over the pandemic, I created a show called Cup of Tea with Teenity, which was a podcast slash drag show slash entertainment show.

And we brought guests from all over the world on it.

We did 176 episodes.

Holy

cow.

And to be honest with you, I feel very grateful.

for the people that came on board with me during that time, like, to Oliver Klosoff in Canada, to Vegas Rose in Dallas.

Like, there was so many incredible drag artists that came on board and support, of course, from Irish drag artists.

But we brought everyone on this one show, this one platform, and we nearly created what I call our self-imagined empire, where we were doing drag shows three or four nights a week.

Like, there was nights where I was getting so tired of drag Because it didn't matter that we didn't go out.

Were you making money at this point? Was I making money? No.

We didn't make money during the pandemic, but it didn't matter.
