I've always loved Medora for as long as I can remember, as long as I've been on the radio, way back when I first met Harold Schaefer and his love of Medora.

And if you want a great book, by the way, Aristocrat of the West is a book that is amazing in the storytelling that it does about Harold Schaefer, of course, the father of our governor and former Ag Secretary Ed Schaefer as well.

There is no Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library attracting people from all around the globe.

And so there's a lot of heritage that has been built brick by brick in Medora that I've always been a champion of for as long as I can remember, and radio shows literally going back to the 80s.

But the Medora of the 80s and 90s has just continued to be transformed constantly.

from the Theodore Roosevelt Maduro Foundation, first of all, and great work that's been done by many folks because the work of building Maduro was really done on a non-profit basis.

In fact, the iconic company, that Harold Schaefer built, the gold seal sales company that did glass wax and Mr.

Bubble and all those great products, as the great entrepreneur he was, basically took this on as a passion project.

And it was not about making money, and that foundation kind of kept it alive after it ultimately came out of Gold Seal sales.

My point in telling you all this is you ought not come to Medora and not think about how it was built and why it's here.

So it should be a stop every time you come, and that's why we're broadcasting today from the Cowboy Hall of Fame.

We've been talking, you know, a lot the last few days about a big announcement.

And, you know, in the radio business, sometimes you've got to have a little bit of showbiz, and you have to, you know, kind of tantalize the audience about, hey, what have you got going? What have you got cooking? And today you know, if you're listeners to the flag, but if you have tuned in today to say, I want to find out what the heck is going on and what you guys have been talking about, we're here to tell you about that today on the program.

And for that, I welcome also my business partner and host of the Steve Hallstrom Show, Steve Hallstrom, who is in our Fargo studios right now.
