I think anyone who's been in the world of entertainment or politics knows that you can't just harness a youth movement if you don't have someone who appeals to the youth.

And I am not in any way going to compare and contrast her thoughts with that, which is, uh, You know, Erica, I didn't even think about Erica until people talked about her later.

And I'm just at a loss as to understand why.

Why we have collectively, it seems, lost our humanity about this woman.

Do you think we have? Have you lost your humanity towards Erica? Do you think you have? I haven't.

That is a complete false equivalence of what's happening when we're talking about empathy.

Now, should I have empathy for Erica Kirk because her husband was murdered? Absolutely, right? But do I have empathy? Do I not want to hurt her feelings because she's a white supremacist? That's not what empathy is.

Calling out Erica Kirk's grift in white supremacy and her late husband's grift in white supremacy is not a violation of empathy.

It might be empathy if I learned that Charlie Kirk or whomever had a set of extenuating circumstances in their life that led them to be a racist.

Case in point, I grew up And when I was born, I was born in Kansas City, Missouri, a very racially segregated city.
