PROSECUTOR CAUGHT IN LIES!!!

Uh, first of all, um, we have the- today wa- we finally withdrew from Iraq.

After 20-some years of being there, um, we finally, finally got the fuck out.

Um, play this quick video to remind everybody what those 20 years have been like.

23 years, $1.7 trillion, 4,500 American lives, and today it's over.

The last US military base in Iraq closes on September 30th, 2026.

The US invaded in 2003 to find weapons of mass destruction that didn't exist, occupied the country, installed a new government, left in 2011, then came back three years later because ISIS took over a third of Iraq.

Fought another war, stayed again, and now, 23 years after the first boot hit the ground, the coalition mission is done.

At peak, there were 170,000 American troops in Iraq.

By the end, a few hundred around Erbil.

So is America actually gone? No, not really.

The US Embassy in Baghdad, still the largest American embassy in the world, keeps its marine security.

Thousands of contractors stay to maintain Iraq's F-16s and Abrams tanks.

Intelligence channels stay open.

What's left is the combat mission.

What stays is everything else.

Iran-backed militias, tens of thousands of fighters, were supposed to hand in their weapons today.

Same deadline.

A militia spokesman laughed at the idea.

His exact words, "These weapons are for our sovereignty.

The government is an outcome we helped produce." That deadline already slipped to June 2027.

The hardline groups haven't even agreed to that.

During the Iran war this year, those same militias launched over 600 attacks on US facilities in Iraq.

An American journalist was kidnapped off a Baghdad street in March.

The embassy sends about two kidnapping warnings a week.

Iraq is still level four, do not travel.
