What, what do we got? What's Worth Talking About this week? You know, this is a tough pill to swallow.
Um, at one point not that long ago, we were looking at, we were, you know, a game or two back at the Braves.
We're on fire, getting ready to, you know, potentially win the division and then, uh, the wheels fall off.
And now, you know, the rhetoric is, "Oh, these guys are all, you know, 33 years old and they, you know, the team owes them $500 million." Well, look, you know, the fans, the fans don't owe them that money, the owners do.
Uh, you know, that's what Mr. Middleton wants to pay these guys, [laughs] that's, that's his prerogative.
They're gonna have to get it all, you know, revved up again in the off-season and come out and, uh, and do it all over again and play 162.
You know? Is it, is it easy to play 162 as, you know, at 33, 34, 35, 36? It gets increasingly harder, sure.
Uh, but these guys are, these guys are elite players and, you know, they have as good a chance to, to play good, uh, and win next year as they did this year.
Now, if they can't go out and, and add to it, add to the team, I, I, you know, that's obviously a problem.
