What's the deal with intermittent fasting?

And now for the health news of the week.

Uh, Perry, Health Secretary RFK Jr. is establishing a clinic and dedicated billing codes to track serious vaccine side effects.

Um, smash or pass? [laughs]

What do you think about that?

So okay, it is...

It- obviously, better data on vaccine side effects is critical.

We've talked about this before, but the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System is potentially the worst, uh, data set on [laughs] on, on vaccines that could possibly exist, because anyone can, could submit anything, and it's completely unverified, and as we said before, there are reports in there that, like, people got injected and turned into the Hulk and stuff.

It is very messy data.

So clearly we need better data on this.

I think there's some problems with the approach of creating a billing code to report-

What?

... vaccine injuries.

That means that a healthcare provider like me could potentially get reimbursed by insurance or Medicare or Medicaid for reporting vaccine injuries, which does obviously create a bit of a perverse incentive there.

And then I think there's the, there's this meta issue, which is that because we know who RFK Jr. is-

the fact that he's couching his language in, like, "Don't we, don't we all just want better data, and don't we all just want things to be more safe?" It's, like, a little disingenuous to me.

I think the, the idea that is next to this proposal is that there is a, you know, vast undocumented slew of vaccine adverse reactions that we aren't aware of.

And the truth is, we are.

There are other vaccine reporting systems besides the horrible VAERS.

There is lots of post-marketing surveillance going on already.

So I, I think this push, you know, just serves to further erode trust in the vaccine system, which has been one of the greatest benefits to public health in the past century.
