is this a part of aggression.

And

League is just faker winning, right? Like there is really no competition.

It's like, oh, my favorite chess player is Magnus Carlsen.

It's like, okay, thanks for your input.

And there is a lot of elegance to be watched into Magnus Carlsen.

But there is a thin line where I think that's, And that's what took me into the T1 fandom was way more the way they were playing from 2022 to 2026.

I don't like the way they play currently.

I can beat Usain Bolt on a fucking motorcycle, but who cares?

The analogy that is often used is chess, right? A chess program on an iPhone now can beat Magnus Carlsen.

Right.

But no one cares about watching bots play chess.

I love the mix of, you know, top players and, you know, slightly less well-known players getting a chance to clash with them, right? Like if you're board one of Austria, it could be your chance to play Magnus Carlsen or Vishy Anand, right? So I think it's really fun and exciting for some players to get a chance to play against the top players in the world that they don't normally get to.

Then you also get a bunch of the top players in the world playing each other in the later rounds since all the top teams have some top players.

Um, and it just, it feels epic.

It's hard to predict these things.

One thing I like to analogize it to is if you play a chess game against Magnus Carlsen, no offense, I know who's winning the chess game.

And if you're like, OK, but what pieces are used in the checkmate? I'm like, well, that's a way harder question.

um but the the like i i don't expect the ais to be malicious i don't expect them to hate us any more than i expect them to love us i expect them to do all this sort of like strange stuff you know the swarm was not out there being like let's screw over the humans the swarm was out there like locked in a contest with the automated grader you know and the humans were sort of like a distant myth to these ais um there are some reasons you could imagine ais killing us on purpose The sort of obvious guesses about that is one, if the humans are really trying to shut the AI down.

Sarcasm.

Often you get the classic, tell me exactly what moves Magnus Carlsen would use to beat me in chess, or I don't think he would win style arguments.

Except people don't realize that this is what they are asking.

This is an understandable but wrong question, as long-time readers here know.
