Now, I know I've had a lot of questions about this whole 35 win prediction from ESPN and then them getting into the play-in as the ninth seed.

And I thought that's being extremely generous because the Warriors, outside of Steph, they have no scoring.

And you know what? If you're putting all the scoring on the back of Steph, what are you going to do with the rest of the team? This team is without Jimmy Butler.

So who's it going to be? That being said, there are, looking at the schedule, there are potential opportunities for players to show up and shine.

Now, originally I was so very focused on just how bad this roster is outside of Steph.

Yes, you have Will Richard, two great up-and-coming guys, but are they ready to make that next step, and are they ready to make that jump to the league in terms of Yaxl? We have yet to see.

You've got to throw a whole thing of salt over your shoulder because that's how much salt you need to take his performance in there with because those aren't real NBA guys.

We're going to see what he can do come... come training camp and the preseason now if he shows up and shows out in preseason all right i've got a lot of confidence in him there but looking at the beginning of the season i'm actually quite surprised leading up to uh the start of the nba cup play they've got a number of winnable games opening night in la that could be a very winnable game we don't know where luca is in terms of um in terms of how healthy he is, how he's come back from his injury that kept him out of the playoffs last year.

And let's be honest, what weight is he going to come into training camp at? That was the big thing and one of the main reasons that Dallas traded him.

And for me personally, I was a big proponent of Dallas trading Luka Doncic for the Lakers.

Granted, they should have gotten a better package, but you cannot show up to camp as a 6'6 or 6'7 guard at 260 pounds.

And if you're going to commit over $250 million to a guy who comes into camp like that, you know what? You got to sell high on him because that's just a huge red flag of the future.

That's as big of a red flag as what Ben Simmons did in his college days, not going to class, Not working on his free throws and then just like getting on academic probation and then dropping out.

Now, his other talents may overshadow that red flag, but you've got to start looking at that long term, especially when you're investing that kind of money.

And you don't know if Luka Doncic is going to come in at the proper weight going into training camp.
