Stephanie RimkaGuestJared St. ClairHostAnd there is plenty of mental health struggle in this world, right? And that's been an area of focus for you for decades now.
And it's been a pretty significant area of focus for me for the last 20 years, but especially for the last eight or so years.
But my regular listeners know My wife, Jen, in her story with 35 plus years of mental health struggles before she found answers in nutrition and physiology and no longer covering up symptoms, but actually addressing root causes.
She was in what was essentially a prison, believing that she was broken based on what she had been told until somebody challenged her and said, you're not broken.
And as that happened, she blossomed into what I would consider now to be, well, not only one of the most amazing human beings I've ever met.
And what I hope to do with Vitality Radio to a very large degree, we have a series of episodes called Emotional Vitality where we don't.
We talk about mindset and how to kind of get out of your own way, for lack of a better term.
But today I want to focus on what you've seen in the 30 plus years that you've been doing this stuff.
You've worked with brain, the nervous system, and specific issues that would get labeled in the DSM, anxiety, ADHD, autism, depression, and all these things.
Give me a little bit of a nutshell version of what you've learned about those diagnoses and how they're treated versus maybe how you think that we ought to be looking at it.
