yeah i will for sure um before we do for the casual listener can either one of you explain why there was a shootout after the game i think a casual you know somebody who's just checking the score be like wait we won why is there a shootout

Yeah, that's just something they added a few years ago for preseason.

I remember when the Kings came here and played the Sharks, or I think it was the Sharks when they introduced it.

It might have been when they played the Knights.

And then two years ago when Trevor was with the Kings and they came in and played, the Kings won like 4-1 and then ended up going to a shootout.

Trevor's like, I didn't know there was a shootout.

Yeah, so it's just something they added, I think, for the fans, maybe a little bit just as a test to see how these guys are going to do.

I mean, it's preseason.

We might as well, you know, kick all the tires, right? Yep, yep, exactly.

Yeah, I've been really impressed with the rookies.

Simashev obviously looks like he belongs and should make the roster.

I agree with Dave.

I don't know how you can keep Daniel Boot off the roster at this point.

He's doing everything that he's been asked to do.

He looks like he belongs.

It is tough for those big guys to grow into their bodies, like you said, and he has skill and all the things that Dave mentioned.

Boy, I mean, there's just not a lot of space on this roster, and it's going to be pretty heartbreaking if we have to put one of these main guys on waivers or something to make room.

And you think about your, you know, Carconis and your Yamamotos, and, you know, where's Tanev going to fit in? Where's Spicy Tuna going to fit in? It's a crowded...

it's a crowded top 12 up front.

So it's going to be tough.

Um, but I, I don't think you can keep it off him off.

Um, I think he's learned a lot in the a at Mavlam.

Um, that's another tough one.
