Logan Cooley

I think their forward core is awesome.

Vincent Trocek is going to be amazing on that second line with Gunther and Cooley.

I like exactly how that second line is going to work.

Vincent Trocek being defensively responsible, taking all the face-offs.

Logan Cooley being the engine of that line, an insane playmaker.

And Dylan Gunther being one of the best shooters in the league already at his age.

So addition getting a good goaltending prospect like sebastian cosa i still think their biggest weakness is goaltending but when you have a good goaltending prospect like sebastian cosa that the red wings fumbled it makes up for a lot of it and i know they also have another young kid coming up in the pipeline i don't remember his name but utah arizona they have always been a goaltending factory they took all that staff with them when they moved to utah And that's why I'm saying they're going to produce more good goaltenders.

They'll know who Dylan Gunther is and what he can do.

And same with Logan Cooley.

And, You know, just things that maybe they had been a little less detailed on before.

Now that they're a playoff team and honestly gave the Golden Knights a really good run for the money.

Yeah.

I understand that's a big trade for any young player in the National Hockey League, and he had every opportunity to make it work with guys like Logan Cooley, Dylan Gunther, Clayton Keller.

Logan Cooley was in those.

So it's three-on-three summer hockey, but they had some decent players in there.

you can go ahead i feel like the guy that would have the biggest like oh he's a really good player too holy fuck is logan cooley And I don't see it happening.

I'm not saying, like, again, we did not project Macklin-Solabrini happening as fast as it did.

But I do think that that kind of skill set could be a guy that scores 40 goals at some point and goes from a, you know, 90-ish pick to that should have been a second-round guy.

But is that a guy that, like... with bedard you know yeah maybe at five on five but like that in two years we're talking about a second round maybe even you know a second or third round anton fardell um any thoughts on on those two or anything else that comes to

mind cooley just has to be so freakishly good at acquiring you know accruing points to get it to that level like maybe if he goes on like a wyatt johnson efficiency bender that's like cooley's almost always going to be the passer here and so like i I'm a little bit dubious of him being, you know, someone with insane, you know, like value on his own.

What I feel like he could do is he could elevate Dylan Gunther to be, in the conversation with, you know, uh, ahead of Kyle Connor, ahead of Cole Caulfield, probably, you know, I think Dylan Gunther is good enough to be in the conversation with Jason Robertson and, you know, Caprizov, maybe he's not a posture knocker Kucherov, but, um, having Cooley, you know, reach full Logan Cooley would certainly do that for me.

Um, Anton Frondell, I'm pretty sure I was driving the wagon with him.

So that really was a lasting impression over the summer, the conversation with Bill and Tusky at our 4th of July party, and just the confidence of Caleb Denoyer.

Well, I know you've been in that Utah room a whole bunch, and Logan Cooley and Dylan Gunther, those are two guys who, when they came to Utah, they were 20 and 21.

They were very young, and maybe they didn't always give the best interviews, but guys like T.J. Ginland and Caleb DeNoye, even younger than Cooley and Gunther were when they first came to Utah, but a Ginland DeNoye, They've got no problem in front of the camera.

They've got no problem on a microphone.

It's almost an old hat for him now.

Logan Cooley could get there very soon.

I mean, Logan Cooley's at Media Days.

So that's how highly everybody thinks of Logan Cooley within the organization.

He's representing the team in Vegas.

So Nick Schmaltz will definitely be one of those guys.
