yeah well very good so who would you still like to interview
7:50
That's a great question.
7:52
I mean, right before doing this episode, I just got an email that Ben Bickman signed up to do another episode because he's got a book coming out.
8:01
And so I reached out to him to say like, hey, do you want to promote your latest book? And he said he said yes, which is amazing.
8:06
So I'm really grateful that he would come on again.
8:09
So I'm very much looking forward to that.
8:12
The first name that comes to mind, I've been I've been very fortunate to interview some amazing people in my life.

But then there are certainly people that really do not have that amount of time and they're going to really benefit from learning either on Zoom or working out at home, what would you, how would you help somebody start a workout program at home?
67:03
But no, even this is still 2014, 2015?
67:07
2014.
67:07
Yep.
67:08
I actually crack open the book, The Big Fat Surprise in 2016.
67:12
At the time, I was now running the entire metabolic testing program for the western region of this company.
67:19
So I was traveling here in Las Vegas.
67:21
I was going to California.

95:49
Yeah, exactly.
6:20
What does that mean, and, and what's the importance of that?
6:23
that?Great question.
6:25
So when I started my career, like I said, I was really interested in heart rate monitors and heart rate training.
6:30
When I was brought onto the staff as a new trainer, I knew more about the Polar heart rate monitors that they were selling than anybody on the staff already.
6:37
Um, and a part of what they were doing that made me really interested is they were using what is called a metabolic cart, um, which is a piece of equipment that measures somebody's respiration, somebody's breathing in and out.
6:48
So classically, people might understand this as like a VO2 kind of a test, if somebody's ever heard of VO2 being a really good longevity marker.
6:55
You're basically analy- analyzing how much oxygen somebody can breathe in and deliver to a working body.
8:21
Yeah, yep.
