It's something, it's like a lot of other boards, it can be tough to find volunteers to sit on those, but we help the director manage, you know, kind of what direction does the county want to go with their properties, what kind of recreation opportunities do we want to see developed within the county.

A lot of our areas, being a small county, are small, you know, five, ten acre pieces, but we have some larger remnant prairies that are 100 acres.

We just extended our campground at Willow Creek that has a farm pond style pond on it.

Last fall was our first year with it, with hunters coming to the county to stay in that cabin and then hunt some of the public.

I would love more information about that after we hit the stop recording button.

okay does that has that changed your perspective at all right when you um just as far as management of properties or the way you look at conservation or other hunters public land any of that stuff i

think it i think it has you know i've been fortunate to have quite a bit of private land to hunt on growing up and knowing neighbors and having our own I would say now it's probably 70-30, private to public, that I hunt.

If I do waterfowl hunting, that's usually all on public, just that's the nature of what it is.
