PLAYOFFS???!!!

But yeah, and I'm sorry that you had to sit through my song earlier.

I was just very excited to be back on, back in the hosting chair with my two friends here, Sam and Tyson.

Sam gets really, really close to the mic when I'm talking and then he makes editorial comments.

Sorry.

Sorry.

Um, so anyway, yeah, we have a couple of things to talk about.

Uh, and, and the big thing is that Vermont green are headed back to the USL league two playoffs.

And we are so excited about that.

Um, and, You know, the demolition job against NEFC, the 4-0 demolition job against NEFC down there in Massachusetts, Vermont are currently 35 matches in a row in the league unbeaten.

Um, they have a four point lead at the top of the Northeast division, and now they have an opportunity to win that division in front of an absolutely packed virtue field against Connecticut rush next week.

But we'll get into that after, um, I think we need to start talking about, um, about this game against New England FC, which is the second time that we went up against them thinking this could be a season decider.

And this time, it may have actually been.

And the first simple question is... is that I have of both of you, where does this Vermont green team rank among the all time Vermont green teams that we've seen? Are they better than last year's national champion? Or are we witnessing just like another machine that's been built by Chris Taylor and Adam Pfeiffer?

I mean, it's hard to compare it to the championship side just because they did go out and win a championship.

So that kind of adds like double points, if you will.

So I think, you know, depending on how this squad does, I think it could definitely become better than that squad.

I think when you look at the amount of depth that that team has, You were missing a guy like Marcos DeSantos yesterday.

That is something that the team was able to do quite well withstanding.

You have so many talented wingers.

You had a guy like Alex Hall who kind of just absolutely balled out against any FC.

So I think that this team definitely does have the ability to... be one of the best teams.

And we've kind of seen it with how much Chris Taylor has rotated his squad.

He's very comfortable with every single player on the roster.

So I don't think they're there yet.

I think if they win a championship, then you can crown them the best.
