And if I can give any pitch to go to a Vermont green game, besides the soccer, you're able to get three Ben and Jerry's.

So

three, they give them out little cups.

And I mean, they're not, I don't think they're happy if you go up multiple times.

So, you know, there's, that's one of the many parts of attending Vermont green.

Very cool.

And a club that believes soccer can be a powerful catalyst for a more environmentally sustainable and socially just world.

I think it's been since August, you know.

So if any of you are really aware of what we do here, we are the United Green Podcast, where we talk all things Vermont Green FC.

We talk a little bit of American soccer.

We talk about the beautiful game in a state where Apparently, we've decided that winning national championships is the thing that we do.

It's not like

I'm showing up in a Vermont Green shirt.

We

had a lovely time in Colorado.

We love the league and want it to keep growing.

Just to throw that out there.

Also, shout out Vermont Green.

Yeah, before people are saying that we hate the league that we talk about so much.

Totally agree with every single thing you said.

I think the other thing that is interesting to me, and I picked up this idea a lot from listening to the full-time podcast, Meg Linehan, who is one of my counterparts in cheering for Vermont Green men and women, which is like a lower league.

The USLW is like more like the college summer league.

And what Meg was saying on her podcast was like, one of the things that makes an open cup or an fa cup special is that it's a team who has no business beating a top team and they do it the point of the tournament is for like the hope of one of these lower league teams to have this opportunity to play for example against a chelsea or a gotham and to be like this is the biggest game on our calendar this is a huge opportunity for us imagine if we could beat them The idea that the NWSL and the Cambridge Super League are technically the same level, they're both division one professional women's soccer leagues, doesn't provide that same type of like hope for an underdog.

He says the game day fan experience been to 14 other MLS Cubs is low.

I would present a case that Hearts of Pine is the best in New England with RAFC next, followed by Vermont Green.

He says he's a 25-year fan of the Revs, and I think there's facts and observations to support Landon's comments.

Jason, I know that that's what the script tells you to do.

What the script tells you to do is, what are we really good at? And how can we improve and get better? The running game needs to improve...

It's been one of the most enriching things for me, you know, ever.

gaining that community that I have through the Vermont Green Football Club.

And it doesn't hurt that they share, you know, that social justice and environmental justice mission that, you know, I also have, you know.

And it's been... an amazing journey.

And then I ended up coming back after the season ended in May.

And then I was lucky enough to train with Vermont Green in their inaugural USLW season this summer.

So I got back into training with them.

I ended up missing the summer window because I was just kind of getting into training.

I wish I could, but I can't.

And so I ended up kind of doing rehab on my own and resting for the last three months of the season.

Once the season ended, I flew back to the U.S. And like I said, I was training with the Vermont Green and shout out to them.

They gave me really good access to physical therapy and I was able to start building up some strength and getting back into playing with them.
