So yeah, we'll have six factions all in all today, plus one that's not exactly a faction, but we'll talk about it.
Where shall we start?
Oh, we're gonna start with Adepta Sororitas.
Oh.
Your faction of choice.
My darlings, the Adepta Sororitas.
The girls themselves.
What a good time to be had when you're playing with your sisters.
Uh, phrasing.
Oh, yeah.
Adepta Sororitas as your faction of choice on the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop, I mean to say.
So Josh, tell us about these girlies.
Well, let's take, let's take our reviews a little step by step.
We'll have a little, little stint on the style, then the lore, the accessibility, the gameplay, rather than the all in one.
Okay.
All right, we can do that.
Why not? Why not? Can really get into the grit of it, you know? Style of the Sisters of Battle, if you're an old head.
I think, Johnny, that the Sororitas of Battle are probably one of, if not the most stylistically realized factions in the whole game of 40K.
I think they really do a great job of standing out visually, apart from other factions, as well as apart from sort of equivalents in other mediums or games universes, if you will.
The Sisters have a very holy church aesthetic, lots of holy icons with rosary beads, halos, reliquaries, and banners, and so forth, but they also blend this concept with the power armor of the wider Imperium, a lighter-weight version of, like, Space Marine armor, things that you might see sprinkled into things like the Imperial Guard, yada, yada.
And so you have these normal human women who are super church-indoctrinated nuns, super zealots, super pious, and they- ... fight in battle with a mixture of power armor, bolters, power swords, chain swords, melters, flamers.
They've got tanks that are playing holy music as they play pipe organs and send missile artillery across the battlefield.
They drop onto the battlefield via churches from orbit.
They ask the emperor for guidance, and he somehow divine interventions them with miracles.
I think these chicks are sick, and whilst some other details of the faction I'm not as hot on, the style alone really led me to them as a faction.
