Destrier

On horseback.

And speaking of horses, a knight's trained war horse called a Destrier was so valuable it could cost more than all his armor and weapons combined.

The horse was the expensive bit?

The horse was the very expensive bit.

The physical reality of that moment is something we need to visualize carefully.

A 12th century Destrier is not a modern riding horse.

No, it is not a racehorse.

It is a highly specialized weapon of war.

Mm-hmm.

And so they look different than a Destrier from France.

Right.

Different purposes entirely.

Yeah.

Would you rather be a Destrier for Hoth Rowan or an Omen-wielding Knight for Benjamin Castor III?

Probably a Knight.

They're both, like, awful cops.

Like, the Destriers and the Knighthood, they're both, like, these systems of power that are basically, like, Hoth is just

such

a dick.
