But Publicis has been winning bits of PepsiCo, starting in Asia, in China, and to other markets, and then moving on to Eastern Europe, a place like Poland.

So quietly, PepsiCo and Publicis have been developing a relationship, and over the summer, something was happening of, I think, what is fair to say, secret talks, and it led on the 2nd of September to Campaign and a few other titles breaking the news that Publicis had won all of PepsiCo.

Omnicom had, through OMD, had a relationship going back three decades with PepsiCo, so it's a huge deal.

Now, I think part of that is the sort of suddenness of it, and so it's trying to digest that.

I think over the next few days we've had it pointed out that if you take the likely media spend of PepsiCo around the world, about $1.7 billion, and actually Omnicom maybe had around 1.1 billion.

Publicis had around $600 million of it, having built it up in Asia and Eastern Europe.

So maybe the hit to Omnicom was not quite so bad, but it's still pretty bad.
