I mean, I think it's interesting for me because I feel like when we were growing up, right, it was you, if you were good enough as a freshman, it was, hey, I'm going to verbally commit and then sign when I'm a senior.

And if you were, if you had an okay freshman year, you weren't that highly recruited, but you popped off your sophomore year, you committed your sophomore year and then, hey, you didn't have a really good sophomore year, you committed your junior year.

And I think it's funny now that we've ever seen it become more, I've seen so many kids commit senior year than I have ever seen before.

And I think it's cool that we've had a lot of cool coaches on this podcast who have done a lot of great things, both playing and coaching.

But it's cool to see their philosophies and how they've said it's changed from when they were recruiting to what they're doing now when they're coaching and how they're evaluating differently and things that are attacking.

I think it's an ever-changing landscape and I don't think one year, or to be honest with you, one month or one day or one week, everything's going to be the same because it seems like the NCAA is adding rules that help or removing rules that hurt.

And I think it's a revolving door and you won't see that typical 1980s fashion anymore.

And it's funny because I was watching this guy on YouTube and he was talking about like the old Nebraska days of when they were ruling college football.

people per year or for for your team per year but i feel like it's just changing where it seems like people bring in it feels like that glenn kiffin brought in what 47 guys or something like that and then we flip it on the on the other side with chris ballard going from duke to virginia it felt like his whole duke roster went to virginia and they had 30 different guys so and I know that's what the coaching changes and we've talked about that I think that should always stay the same where if a coach leaves you should be allowed to get out of your free

right yeah whatever you signed and you could go to whatever school you want to and I think it's just the lane landscape has been changing a ton and I think it's always good to be up to date and following the new news because it might affect you in a good way or a bad way.

Obviously you can answer first here is what do we see college coaches prioritizing at the current moment?

I think for the people that listen to our podcast with Coach Barlow over at Salve, it's production, right? I think more now than ever, if you don't perform, they're just going to replace you.

If you have a bad year, they're just going to replace you and you're going to sit on the bench.
