Like when I tell you guys about it, gonna be sick um but anywho as i said there's a lot going on in the world there's a lot happening in the pop culture space and we've got to dive into this fucking show because my god i have things to say so let's kick things off the way that we always do with our new music releases our new music releases from last week and what we're looking forward to coming out this week now this first one actually came out two weeks ago now but since i didn't record last week i am squeezing it in Rachel Chinneriri, second single from her upcoming album, I Think I Spoke Too Soon.

And the more that I learn about this album, the more excited I get for this.

I think it is such a strong debut album, and I still have it on rotation very frequently.

I think it is truly an incredible body of work, one of my favorites from that year.

But the more that I hear about this new album, I think I spoke too soon, just makes me so excited.

I don't want to say pop because it's not like it's not a Sabrina Carpenter pop kind of sound, but a little more a little less like alternative kind of vibe and a little more like.

some synth and she's kind of playing in some different sounds the lead single one song away from crying was so much fun so upbeat and just had like a little more a little more behind it than some of her other songs and now this second single make believe feels exactly the same way i just am so another one who i'm just so excited to watch come into their career and kind of continue on this journey it's just it feels like she's really having fun with her music and isn't afraid to kind of experiment with a different little a different sound and a different vibe and it still feels very Rachel you know it's obviously bridging from her first album into this one and we did get that EP in between so you know we haven't not heard from her since then but that first album felt very kind of like rock alternative inspired which I loved but this new one does feel a Which, of course, is always going to be where my mind wants things to go.

I mean, the podcast you're listening to is called To Pop To Handle for a reason.

But I really am loving the direction we're going in for this album that comes out.
