Jake KenningtonGuestAnd the knowledge nugget this week, the coaching knowledge nugget this week, squad, is success can be a trap.
Yep, I said it, because some of you out there, you're not struggling, you're winning.
And here's the dangerous part: when you're struggling, you're forced to change.
I am working with a professional Major League Baseball player right now, top level, elite, living the dream most people would kill for, but behind the scenes, he felt disconnected from the game, his people, from himself.
And you know what he told me? He said, "Fergie, Coach Fergie, I don't even know if I love this anymore." It's kind of crazy, squad, but think about that.

Have the guts to check it, adjust it, redefine it, because winning at the wrong game is the fastest way to kind of lose your grip on life.
And talk about a guy who has made some pretty solid changes in his life, he didn't just climb the mountain.
Oh, huge thank you to Michelle Schaefer out there for the interview to Jake Kennington, who I've been waiting to interview this guy.
I got him in the house, a licensed structural engineer who spent over a decade designing $100 billion buildings, the kind of success most people are chasing.
