Will Bo Bichette OPT-IN?-Episode266-TilMetsDoUsPart

I don't know how you wanna go about this because I think the biggest thing that has the biggest wide-ranging, sweeping effect, the, the butterfly effect, if you will, is the Bob Bichette stuff.

Yeah.

And he's listed in the title.

Bob Bichette is list- he, he's the picture on the thumbnail.

And so I think maybe it almost behooves us to save Bob Bichette because I think that will-

Okay

... naturally go into what is a bigger conversation-

Mm

... about where the Mets' plans might be, where Bob Bichette's-

Mm

... plans are, all of that stuff.

And I think maybe we should start with the news that dropped about an hour ago, which is-

Sure

...

the Mets making some changes to...

I, I should actually say the Mets making some "changes," with heavy air quotes, to their coaching staff because two of the people I've never heard of, and I don't think if you, if you are firing or reassigning the guy who throws batting practice, I'm not sure that that's worth a press release.

But you know, here we are.

The main person being, being let go, relieved of his duties or whatever, is Jeff Albert, who is the Major League, or the orgas- organizational wide hitting liaison.

I don't care what his title is.

The Mets already have a hitting coach.

His name is Troy Snitker.

I think there were too many, um, voices in the room probably yet again.

Maybe Andy Green, uh, you know, now that he's the, the full-fledged guy in the manager's chair, it be maybe he said, "Hey, Stearns, look, I, I wanna streamline this a little bit.

I don't need two voices here." Maybe it was an organizational choice.

I don't know.
