Catch Up on Kirkland’s Cat Burglar, Dunk Tank, and Giant Trucks - September 3, 2026

We're kicking off this week's roundup with our new top headline.

Yes.

Cat burglar apprehended.

Meow.

Yeah, it just writes itself, really.

It does.

So what we're, of course, talking about is last week, Kirkland Police Department got a call about a possible break-in.

Uh-oh.

And when they arrived, surprise, it was a bobcat.

I don't think they were expecting that.

I can pretty much guarantee you they weren't.

The caller thought it was a person.

Yeah, yeah.

What would you think? What would you think?

Yeah, exactly.

They heard banging around, like, you know, elsewhere in their house.

Called 911.

Good job.

Good job.

Showed up.

So our police, they deployed a drone.

This is so sci-fi.

Inside drone.

Yeah, yeah.

It is very, like it was giving me like, I don't know, RoboCop vibes or something.
