So yeah, Some of these guys might never have written for anything before.

And suddenly you're in a band with the guy who wrote A Kind of Magic and Radio Gaga.

It's like, yeah, we need you to ship him with some songs.

I don't think they've done a bad job, to be fair.

Yeah, so there was a song, I remember, and I always ask my mom to play it over and over again.

It was a song called Radio Gaga.

Okay.

That is one of the earliest memories I have of really liking music.

roger's sci-fi element and brian's sci-fi element yeah and roger's clearly experimenting with those electronic sounds on on radio gaga and he's doing a bit of it on the cross actually that this kind of round about this sort of time he starts to he brings those those programmable sounds in on machines here and their collaboration i think is really strong so yeah i've got a lot of time for it let's have a look at side a then uh radio gaga and it's a hard life both bangers both on great six two which leaves us only two tracks there's only four tracks on side one uh and it was between tear it up and man on the prowl and i would have paid good money to just assume that tear it up would make it into the queen de la queen i'm pretty certain that people know it now because they play it live even now i mean surely i mean i think it was the original qpq i'm pretty sure john sues would have pushed for tear it up am i remembering this right were we all unanimous you are yeah we all went for man on

And their performance was fairly late in the show.

And as you said, when they did Radio Gaga, it was extraordinary.

And, you know, all of a sudden their popularity went through the roof again because the performance was so great, so wonderful.

And then to celebrate his life, they did another Wembley arena show for World AIDS as well this time.
