Classic About Water: Are we drinking recycled wee?

My next question that I haven't really thought through, funny enough, is how the fuck's that getting in the water? Surely that's coming from people ingesting the pill, cocaine, other drugs, urinating it out, and then we're using that water, are we? We're using piss?

What? So if you think of the Earth, the blue planet, we are 71% water on the planet.

So if you take that water, 97% of that is salt water, which is pretty useless to us.

And we can't use it?

Well, desalination, very sort of energy heavy to do so, quite expensive to do so.

Technology's not there yet to do desalination well.

So 97% saltwater, so we can sort of discount that.

So we've got 3% left of the water on Earth that is drinkable.

2.5% of that is captured in the ice caps.

frozen, can't get to it, or it is too far underground for us to access.

So that's leaving us about half a percent of the water

on Earth.

Joe, the water in the bottom of these four cups, do not, whatever you do, throw it away.

So therefore we have to drink our own piss.

So it stands to reason that we are reusing the water.

We're recycling the water.

So when you flush your toilet or let water down your bath or your sink, that goes to a wastewater treatment works.
