Paul Dehner Jr.GuestI mean, we talked all during training camp about how it looked like Aaron Rodgers, DK Metcalf were going to pick up where they left off last year.
And so I think if you look specifically at this last game, there was a two-pronged approach from the New England Patriots.
First, they gave that young offensive line fits with a number of different pressures, especially six-man pressures, getting at the quarterback quickly.
So if they're going to create these early pressures, then you're going to need to win early.
And DK Metcalf taken out of the game by Christian Gonzalez, taken out of the game by DK Metcalf, who struggled again with drops.

And when you are the highest paid receiver on this team, when you're expected to be the guy to the point where how many times have we talked about Aaron Rodgers saying DK is my guy.

I go back to the third down in the second half against the Patriots that would have been a first down completion, would have kept a drive alive, maybe would have kept them in the game at least for a little bit longer at that point.

And I think that this is becoming you hope it doesn't continue here this week because it's becoming a noticeable problem.
Yeah, and it's just a massive disappointment because, you know, you look at it, the Steelers really paid for DK Metcalf twice.
They spent a second round pick to bring in DK Metcalf, you know, that significant draft capital.
And then they gave him the $33 million per year and they gave him the guaranteed money that apparently is the big thing holding up the Joey Porter Jr. thing.
So they did things for a player that they weren't willing to do for someone like Porter.
And now what are they getting in return? Someone who's really, really struggling.
