No, Nico Collins is going to hurt.

Somebody's going to have to step up and the Bengals got a really good corner in Dax Hill and their secondary as a whole played really well in week one.

And then offensively, I do believe that they're going to be able to do just enough and put up points.

That offensive line looked really good in week one.

Two young, good linebackers, Carter and Knight, were both rookies last year, and they were in the top three or four in their team in tackles.

um the good football players there in the secondary they've had some moving parts here a little bit but at a cooking free agency it kind of solidifies it a little bit battle returns and they kind of move Dax Hill into a little bit more of a full-time corner role well he's vacillated back and forth to Thomas meet corner nickel and safety um you know signed Duggar who gives him some depth there in the secondary but everything starts at the front and they've done a really good job and really from about week 10 until the end of the year last year they were on the top eight to ten in the league in multiple categories so um this is a team that's played better defensively now they have new players um and then offensively I mean everything starts with Joe um does everything well and there's not one thing he doesn't do well um other than the injuries but from a football standpoint I mean, he's smart.

He gets rid of the ball.

He has a low turnover rate.

But if you know they're going to be a pain to deal with in the trenches and put pressure on your quarterback, that's a lot to start with if that's their baseline.

It certainly might be.

I think it might be a little too early to tell or to make that statement yet that that is going to be their identity because I do think the secondary is going to be a strength of this team too, especially in that cornerbacks room with DJ Turner and Dax Hill and then Brian Safety elevating that safety play as well and hoping you get so much more out of Jordan Battle this year playing along a Brian Cook.

So I hope that continues to be the case, that they are an opportunistic defense, that they're going to you know wreak havoc especially there in the backfield and you know force pressure on opposing quarterbacks create turnovers would definitely love for that to be the identity of this defense.

I think that we're going to be a matchup nightmare for their offensive line, and I do feel like our corners will be able to do whatever they want to do.

I think Dax Hill going up against Nico Collins is a big matchup, and I think they should cloud coverage there.

You're going to have DJ Turner on the other side being able to eliminate whoever, if it's Noel or whoever.

You bring in Brian Cook to stabilize things on the back end.

Um, in the front is Dexter Lawrence now.

D.J. Turner getting an interception.

That would be nice, wouldn't it? Dax Hill.

Maybe Jordan Battle, who's been very opportunistic.

Or maybe the guy who was all around the ball that wasn't necessarily known for his ball skills, Brian Cook, last week.

Last year that cornerbacks room combined for four interceptions on the season.

That's as many as Jordan Battle had.

And so I think that's one major area that this group, especially as you're looking for DJ Turner and Dax Hill to take that next step, especially a guy like DJ to really kind of solidify himself as that elite shutdown corner who's going to be on the opposing team's one.

He only had two picks last year, so we'd love to see that number go up.

Dax Hill I think will be on Nico Collins with cloud coverage shaded to his side throughout the whole game.

I think the Texans are going to want to run the football.

I think the Bengals are probably going to try to protect Joe Burrow by running the football.

So he's got that dog in him.

I thought Dax Hill tackled really, really well.

We know what Brian Cook brings as a tackler.

So really the only other question mark is Jordan Battle.
