Chase, we are back.

It is still the off-season, and there's not a ton to talk about, but training camp, media day, all those fun things are just about two weeks away here at the time of recording this podcast, and that's exciting to be so close to things getting underway here.

It's, like, mid-September now, but the season, Chase, is, is right around the corner.

But let's start with how you're doing.

I'm doing really well, Ryan.

Yeah, it's, it's right around the corner.

It feels so far away still.

Like, we've, we've been doing these off-season podcasts now for a few months, and we're ready to just get into the real content.

But, [laughs] um, until then, we're, we're gonna just start, you know, doing some more different topics.

Uh, I think we have a good podcast today that we'll be discussing, so I, I'm excited to talk again with you, Ryan, but I, I really can't wait till the basketball really starts in a couple weeks.

Yeah, I'm with you.

As much fun as it is to, uh, to talk basketball during the off-season, it's way more fun when there's actually real games and real consequence and real results to talk about.

So, I look forward to that, Chase.

We'll definitely have a great season full of podcasts and content here on the group chat.

But for today, I wanna talk about expectations and what the Wizards need to do to exceed expectations, and what could possibly not work out and we could see the Wizards, uh, underperform a bit here, uh, with this upcoming season.

So, just kind of looking at the team through a optimistic lens and how they would exceed expectations in looking through the team in maybe a not so favorable lens, identifying some things that, uh, could potentially not work out that would cause the Wizards to underperform.
