That is a key thing where he needs to have this team run more set plays, especially when you have good catch-and-shoot guys like Trey Johnson, Bub Carrington, Trey Young, even though he hasn't taken – a thousand catch and shoot threes in his career he is a like i remember this stat but he's above 40 catch and shoot three-point shooter where it's like you have the catch and shoot guys that can make it why not run set plays to potentially set them up instead of going isolation ball where anthony davis takes off 16 seconds on the shot clock either takes a bad shot with four seconds left or tries to pass it out and then they get in you know even worse look up I'm not a fan of that whatsoever, and I think that is something that has to stop going forward.

I'm fine with isolation every now and then.

So they put Bub in, Trey Johnson played a lot on the fourth, and Ayton pretty much sat the entire quarter.

couple minutes here and there where they give him the on-ball work i don't think that's working too well either um the bub carrington point guard minutes aren't as great as when he's at the two so yeah let's let's use our resources and see if it'll work maybe it doesn't but it you know it can't be worse from the backup point guard minutes that we're getting right now so to your point yeah i think It's worth at least seeing.

He has had productive stints in his career.

You could see when he was getting posted up by Brandon, he took it personally.

He really tried to get up in Brandon's skin.

Rookie Christian Anderson, who was having a real tough time, Matt, in those first couple games, because let's be honest, once the Hawks put out that blueprint of, hey, if you just pick this guy up 94 feet or make it really hard, be really physical with him, It's going to be hard for him to keep the ball.

That scouting report went out and we saw Davion Mitchell do that to him.

We saw Bub Carrington do it to him today, but he had a really good game, some really good passes that just weren't paid off with his teammates making those shots.

Talking about Christian Anderson, he was thrown to the deep end of the pool with no life jacket, but he's slowly starting to tread water and maybe he's heading in the right direction.

He is able to get his shot off, but you know, That's not what I'm looking for in the fourth quarter.

What I am looking for, loved it very much, and I have to apologize to Bub Carrington, who early in the season I said I didn't think would be part of the future.

Bub Carrington has played very impressive basketball.

One, he's defending at a very high level, chasing his man.

fighting through screens but also he's providing a barrage of offense while also taking reasonably intelligent shots tonight late in the game the wizards needed a bucket the wizards had cut it all the way down to six and they were able to cut it to three on a trey johnson three late in the game trey johnson able to hit his only three of the game tonight he finished with seven two and three on three of eight shooting he was only one of six from downtown either way he's just a lights out shooter so you still get him the ball he always if he's open bub gave a little fake Dumped it off to Trey.

They didn't always commit to the double team.

Brandon Miller would just go over a couple of pick and rolls.

get the matchup that he wanted, whether it was Trey Young or Bub Carrington, somebody smaller.

I love that the Wizards are now a team that will get people fired up.

I tell you what, Bub Carrington is one dude.

Like, if you got to figure out who on the team will give you it all, all the time, that is Bub for sure.
